The club’s continued success on the field is making heads turn throughout the pyramid. No fewer than three of our players this season have made the step up to the professional ranks. Manny Duku started the ball rolling moving to Cheltenham, and this has been followed over the last couple of weeks with Hassan Jalloh being signed up by Havant & Waterlooville and now Priestley Farquharson moving on to Connah’s Quay Nomads.

The club continues to search and find the immense talent in the area, and Manager Paul Hughes is keen to further the development of players as the club looks to gain promotion back to Step 3.

The club would like to wish Hassan and Priestley all the best in their future careers at the Professional level.

We always welcome and look forward to seeing any of our ex. players back at the club anytime, and Manny has taken time to check back on us both home and away when time has allowed and keep us updated on how his career is continuing away from the SKYex.

Those of you at today's game against Molesey would have seen the return to Hayes & Yeading United of goalkeeper Charlie Burns who signed this week from Hampton & Richmond Borough.

This is Charlie's second spell with the club having originally played five games three years ago in a loan spell from MK Dons while United were in exile playing at Maidenhead United.

We welcome Charlie to the SKYex and hope he has a succesful stay with the club where he will compete for the starting 'keepers spot with Jack Smith who has been struggling of late with injury.

Congratulations to United Manager Paul Hughes who has been named the Anderson Travel Bostik South Central Manager of the Month for the second time in three months after United surged to the top of the table in December scoring 28 goals and conceding just 6 throughout the month as we closed out 2018.

The month started with a 3-3 draw at fellow promotion challengers Bracknell Town followed by home victories of 5-1, 5-1, 6-0 and a 9-1 demolition of the hosts away at Hanwell Town.

Congratulations goes to Paul, his backroom staff and the players for yet another fine achievement.
