18s Bring it Home

Congratulations to Tristan Lewis and United's Academy side who this evening won the Middlesex "Jeff Ritson" Senior FA Youth Cup with a 3-2 victory over Staines Town.

Cole Brown gave United a half-time lead but this was overturned early in the second half with the Swans scoring twice in as many minutes. United left it late to pull level, Matt Sinclair netting after 84 minutes before the same player struck the winner, against by then 10 man Staines, in the 4th minute of stoppage time.

4 New Faces

With suspensions and injuries hitting United hard, Garry Haylock has today brought in four new faces to bolster his squad.

Central defender Kyle Clinton arrives on loan from Premier League side Southampton and full-back Aaron Tumwa comes in on a similar deal from National League side Bromley.

Other new faces are Luke Ifil on dual registration from Mark Bentley's Grays Athletic and former Chelmsford winger Sam Baffour arrives from Tower Hamlets FC.

We wish all four a fruitful stay with United.

Appeal Fails

Manny Monthe appeal fails

Following the sending off at Ebbsfleet United ten days ago, the club submitted an appeal over Manny’s red card, after the video evidence was reviewed by club officials.

The club were disappointed to receive notification from the FA that the appeal had failed, and as a result Manny will be suspended for three games commencing on Saturday 12th March.

Adam Everitt will now miss a further two matches, after collecting his tenth booking of the season at Eastbourne Borough, which will commence immediately after his three match ban for a red card in the same game against Ebbsfleet United.
