KEANO LEAVES

Hayes & Yeading can confirm that 21 year-old defender Keano Robinson has decided to leave the club in search of starting opportunities and has signed for Southern League Division One Central side Cambridge City.

We wish Keano well with his new club and thank him for his efforts in United red that has seen him make 32(7) appearances with one goal to his credit.

FIXTURE CHANGES

Hayes & Yeading have today been advised that South Park need to play a county cup tie that was postponed yesterday evening next Tuesday which takes precedence over our League fixture and this will now be played at the SKYex on Tuesday 22nd January.

United will still have a game on Tuesday 4th December however as the Middlesex Senior Charity Cup match at CB Hounslow United has been moved forwards.

A new date has also been arranged for our trip to Chipstead which will now take place on Tuesday 8th January.

FA TROPHY DRAW

Todays draw for the 1st round proper of the Buildbase FA Trophy, made live on TalkSport, has seen Hayes & Yeading United or Brightlingsea Regent given an away tie at holders Brackley Town.

Having progressed on Tuesday evening, the above tie will take place on Saturday 15th December replacing our league fixture at Chipstead, a new date for our visit to Chipstead will be advised once agreed.

FA TROPHY UPDATES

With today's Buildbase FA Trophy tie ending all square, United will now travel to Essex on Tuesday evening for the replay against Brightlingsea Regent meaning our scheduled fixture at CB Hounslow United in the Middlesex Senior Charity Cup has been rescheduled to Tuesday 8th January 2019.

FOLKESTONE OFF & NEW DATES

Following an accident on the M20 which left traffic at a standstill for several hours with most of our players and management stuck, unfortunately last night’s game at Folkestone Invicta had to be called off.

This game will now take place on Tuesday 20th November replacing our trip to Chalfont St Peter as the Velocity Trophy takes precedance, the trip to Chalfont has been rescheduled for Tuesday 18th December, kick off 7:45pm.

BUILDBASE FA TROPHY DRAW

Hayes & Yeading United have finally been given a home tie in this season's competition and Bostik Premier side Brightlingsea Regent will be the visitors to the SKYex in the 3rd Qualifying Round with the tie taking place on Saturday 24th November, kick off 3pm.

Our League fixture at home to South Park previously scheduled for the above date will now be played on Tuesday 4th December, kick off 7:45pm.

All at Hayes & Yeading United are saddened to hear of the passing of Isthmian League President Alan Turvey. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this saddest of times. Rest In Peace Alan.

COUNTY CUP DRAW

Following last nights victory over Enfield Town, United will face a return to Silver Jubilee Park in the Quarter-Finals as we have been drawn away to Southern Premier side Hendon.

This fixture is set for Tuesday 15th January 2019, kick off 7:45pm.

KEEPER DEPARTS

Hayes & Yeading can confirm that 'keeper James Shaw who started the season between the sticks covering for the injured Jack Smith has left the club to join fellow Bostik League side Three Bridges in search of first team football.

In his five games for United he had a 60% clean sheet rate and we thank James for his efforts in United red and wish him well for the future.

MONTHLY AWARDS

Congratulations to Paul Hughes who has today been named as the Bostik League South Central Manager of the Month for October, the first time this award has fallen to a United gaffer since Garry Haylock was named Blue Square South manager of the month in March 2009.
